Giro d'Italia 2014, Dublin / by Conor Cunningham

A chance of seeing the Giro d'Italia pass through Dublin was an oppurtunity too great to pass up. I'd rather watch a bike race go past than photograph it, but I couldn't help but take a few snaps. I fired off approximately 20 pictures but only two were really usable. Even then, they're not great images.

Edvald Boassen Hagen in third position just after passing through the 1km to go banner.

Lessons learnt for next time will be to get a better position and use a larger depth of field ( I was using a 200mm lense).

Tom Veelers of Giant-Shimano enters the bend with 1km to go.

Marcel Kittel won this stage, the third stage of the Giro d'Italia 2014 and on his birthday to boot. Well done!
